During the summer of 2016 I was a Marketing & Media intern for the Grand Haven Area CVB.

 

This position challenged me and allowed me to work with different mediums that I was not familiar with. Throughout the summer I was able to create several different web and print advertisements for Pure Michigan and was also featured in a few of their promotional videos. The most exciting project was the      "A Dog's View of Grand Haven" video that I created with a GoPro which highlighted popular tourist spots around the area.

Some of my Internship duties included:

-Greeting and interacting with tourists and locals.

-Updating the different social media platforms.

-Creating different blogs featuring attractions.

-Creating photo and video content for pages.

-Designing promotional print graphics.

-Updating the website and upcoming events.

-Gathering weekly local lodging information.

-Staying updated on popular upcoming events.
